Recently a video blogger named Brooke Amelia Peterson got a hands on video with her father’s iPhone X, the problem though it led to her father getting fired by Apple! Ouch!
Apple has reportedly dismissed an engineer after his daughter’s iPhone X hands-on video went viral on YouTube. Brooke Amelia Peterson published a vlog earlier this week, which included a trip to the Apple campus to visit her father and see an unreleased iPhone X. Peterson’s video was quickly picked up by sites like 9to5Mac, and it spread even further on YouTube.
Peterson now claims her father has been fired as a result of her video. In a tearful video, Peterson explains her father violated an Apple company rule by allowing her to film the unreleased handset at Apple’s campus. Apple reportedly requested that Peterson remove the video, but it was clearly too late as the content spread further and further.
“Maybe your business has failed or your venture gone off track. Maybe you were supposed to be the next Steve Jobs, but it’s all gone bad. For whatever reason, you find yourself in a place you never imagined–rock bottom.
But failure is not fatal and rock bottom is not forever, unless you make it so. There are very important lessons to learn when you’ve hit rock bottom. Here are nine of the most important:
1. You’re may not be who you thought you were. When you’re down and out, you’re forced to confront yourself as you probably never have before. It’s when you’re at your most broken and weak that you can dig down through your vulnerabilities to the strength to stand strong. It is in loss and imperfection that you can see how perfectly human you are.
2. The only difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is how you use them. Hitting rock bottom is a powerful reminder not to carry your mistakes around with you but to place them under your feet, to turn your stumbling blocks–all you failures, pain, mistakes, and foibles–stepping stones on your way to success.
3. What you thought you wanted may not be what you need. Sometimes painful circumstances turn out, months or years after the fact, to point you in a new direction that you didn’t even know existed before.
4. You stand taller after having been knocked down. When you’ve learned to forget what is gone and appreciate what still remains, you can approach the future with new energy and higher standards. You can be strong because you experienced weakness; you can be fearless because you have experienced fear; you can be wise because you have experienced failure.”
Earlier today 2,800 JFK Assassination documents were released, apparently there are even more being reviewed for release as well but have been held back for now.
Moments ago, the National Archives released a trove of 2,800 documents that will shed more light on the assassination of John F. Kennedy. According to the Archives, the release includes “FBI, CIA, and other agency documents (both formerly withheld in part and formerly withheld in full) identified by the Assassination Records Review Board as assassination records.” You can find the documents here.
This data dump was meant to include even more documents. But, according to The New York Times, Donald Trump “bowed to protests by the C.I.A. and F.B.I. by withholding thousands of additional papers pending six more months of review.” If those ever see the light of day, we’ll let you know.
Earlier this year Ryan Reynolds wished his wife a happy birthday in the most loving way possible, by cropping half her face out of the photo of the couple. Ryan has a knack of and reputation for being cheeky.
It would seem that Blake is just as cheeky though! Today she wished Ryan a happy birthday as well and she took the upper hand!
